Who we are


Sean Costello - CEO & Founder

Sean started Synapse on his return from Abu Dhabi, UAE, in 2014. He has supported a wide-range of businesses, in the professional and financial services sectors - to win new business, achieve growth, enhance performance and, ultimately, get business critical projects over the line, on time.

All of his work has been based on the principle of acting as a trusted adviser to his clients, based on strong and sustainable business relationships. The vast majority of Sean's work comes from friendly referrals.


Sean has deep operational experience, drawn from working with the British Army - in Bosnia, the London Olympics and in the UK Government's crisis response to the Covid pandemic.

He has a highly-developed growth mindset and believes that anything is possible, if you set your sights on it. Hence, he enjoys working with dynamic and entrepreneurial teams. Sean has attended Cranfield University, on the Business Growth Programme, for CEOs.

He is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of World Traders, based in the City of London.
